Dev_Agent Report: SendMessageDto

Task: Create SendMessageDto contract in the project

Implementation Details

File Created

  • Path: Chat.Contracts/DTOs/SendMessageDto.cs
  • Namespace: Chat.Contracts.DTOs

Properties Implemented

1. ReceiverId

  • Type: Guid
  • Purpose: The ID of the user who will receive the message
  • Required: Yes
  • Default Value: Guid.Empty

2. Content

  • Type: string
  • Purpose: The content/message text to be sent
  • Required: Yes
  • Default Value: string.Empty

3. ConversationId

  • Type: Guid? (nullable)
  • Purpose: Optional ID of the conversation this message belongs to
  • Required: No (optional as per task requirements)
  • Default Value: null
  • Note: If not provided, a new conversation may be created
